About the Photographer

Hi, I’m Jana!

I’ve always loved creating. At six, I was writing stories. At 12, I started filming YouTube videos. By high school, I was a social media Brand Ambassador for various businesses and trying to perfectly frame any picture I took while on vacation.

In college, I majored in Communication with a concentration in Media, where I further explored my passion for photography. Canon (and later, Fujifilm) in hand, I gained experience across a variety of categories, including portraits, graduations, and even aviation.

Now, I see photographs in everything. It’s second nature. It’s how I think. My mind is always trying to find the next frame, and make something ordinary into something people will remember. 

Yes, photos freeze a moment in time, but around here, I want them to be a memoir. Whether I’m capturing a musician’s energy on stage, celebrating a college senior’s last few days on campus, or framing a beautiful scene on the other side of the world, my goal is to take photographs that draw in, excite, and inspire.
